I understand the Haitian authorities are in the right to protect Haitian children again trafficking; however this is the wrong time to take focus and media attention away from the recovery mission and other more important realities. Instead of covering and reporting about the recovery and the pain of millions of Haitian, all we hear about these days about Haiti, is this child trafficking case.  I am not but any mean supporting the missionaries for what they did. I think they were wrong for trying to remove children from Haiti while the Haitian government had ordered a stop on of external adoption procedure.  The Haitian government should release the missionaries to US government and put the focus back on the recovery. Sometime, you just need to take a lost on some issues and move on. Haiti is in dire need and the Haitian leaders need to understand the basic of trade off. They cannot take every issue at heart. They need to set their priority straight. Seeing Americans in jail in Haiti for this issue break my heart. After what U S Government and Americans of all races, origin, religions, and color are doing to help Haiti.

 The right thing to do will be the release these men and women to US Government. The Haitian leaders need to learn about diplomacy. Keeping these Americans in Haitian jail will complicate US tasks in Haiti and role in the recovery efforts “vis a vis” of Americans.
